Classmates, night stroll, and Jindai Botanical Garden (Again)

Time for another update, first off I wanted to show you a class photo we took, so you can see the people I spent most of my week with. These are all my classmates, and one of our three teachers.
We also had an earthquake drill this week before leaving for golden week, well all we had to do was open the door, hide under our desk for a minute then walk to a nearby park, after that we got to go early so that was nice.

One day I decided that I just wanted to walk home from school instead of taking the train. I properly should have checked beforehand, but I didn’t realize that is more than a 3-hour walk. You kind of forget how far away a lot of stuff is since you never leave the city. The photos might not be the best, since the lack of light made pictures hard to capture, but I got a lot of beautiful sights and discovered multiple parks, quiet alleyways, and temples.
My favorite of the pictures shows a tree that had been in the way of road construction, so they simply build around it, yes the road continues on the other side of it too. Guess drivers just need to be better.

A few of my classmates were impressed with my pictures from the last time I was in Jindai Botanical Garden and wanted to visit. So in celebration of Greenery Day most gardens are free, and we had the day off we (Sven, Rose, and I) decided to go. The weather was nice and hot and the roses are currently in full bloom, so it was really beautiful. However since it’s golden week, there were a lot of people everywhere, so a very different experience from last time.
We walked around the area for most of the day and also visited the nearby temple.

Lastly, here at the bottom, I just wanted to say I’m sorry for the late post, I usually will be giving an update each Sunday. Last Saturday I sadly got sick and was sick until Monday afternoon. So that is the sad reason for the late post.
