As I was exploring the Chōfu and digging through the pile of documents I got from city hall, I quickly decided I wanted to go to Jindai Botanical Gardens, as the name suggests it’s a botanical garden full of beautiful plants and trees.
It was quite weird being there, as the area is massive, you couldn’t see the city at all and apart from the occasional siren or a plane above, you forgot that you still were in Tokyo. Since the wind started to pick up, there were very few people in the gardens, I think most people recently visited when the cherry trees were in full bloom.
Armed with my camera and just looking for some peace, I strolled around the gardens since I hadn’t given myself time to properly relax.
Since it was flowers I focused on super close-ups and must say I’m pretty pleased with the pictures I got. Here below you can see some of the better ones. I will most certainly return at a later time, as the big rose garden hadn’t bloomed yet.
